Advantages:

 - Reduce or eliminate noise and fatigue due to vibration of pipework against the supporting structure

 - Prevention of galvanic corrosion due to the contact of dissimilar metals in the presence of an electrolyte

 - Prevention of wear and / or crushing of composite, thin wall or non-ferrous pipework

Also available in Zinc plated or galvanised steel. Please contact us for details

Material Finish

T316 Stainless Steel is suitable for anywhere you would use T304 BUT has the added advantage of being suitable for marine solutions. The molybdenum increases the corrosion resistance to withstand attack from many industrial chemicals and solvents and of course chlorides

Tolerance on dimensions +/- 1 mm. Please note that as we use roll threading, the bar diameter is slightly less than the thread diameter

Great for antenna installations...

Hi

I used these for a home made bracket (to replace the supplied cross over plate) to mount an 8 element VHF (144 MHz) antenna. The antenna boom comprises 30 mm aluminium alloy and I used the ones suited to 27 mm O/D tube, expecting I'd have to file a mm off the rubber, but they fitted like a glove without the need to modify them. In fact, they almost gripped the pole well enough (to prevent it turning) without the nuts, so it only took a gentle tighten to secure the antenna to the bracket. The mast comprises a section of standard alloy scaffold pole (which I have had chromate gold plated) and obviously, the bigger U bolts are to attach the crossover plate to that pole. All in all, it's looking very nice indeed and though I haven't yet fitted it atop the main mast, I suspect that it will last for many years longer than would the original system (M6 S/S U bolts directly clamping the thin walled 30 mm tube; not only creating a pinch point, but also the risk of galvanic corrosion).
