Boat trailer component
This U-bolt with another matching U-bolt and 2 backing plates are to replace a worn out component on a boat trailer (rusted and thread stripped). It binds the square section axle to a square section vertical load-bearing support. I am confident that the U-bolt assembly will be an improvement on the original component for 3 reasons: It is stronger, the threads will not strip, and it will not rust. Being exposed to salt water and salt laden wind, this grade of stainless steel is the only thing good enough. As I live in a remote part of Scotland, delivery by Royal Mail is several times better than the service any courier can offer, and much better value.
