Munsen Type Bossed Pipe clips (1205 and 1206 Series)

Sometimes called Munsen rings, bossed pipe clamps are very similar to a two bolt pipe clip, but with threaded boss attached. The threaded boss allows the pipe clamp to be fixed to a base plate via a length of studding.

The added advantage is the matrix – connect multiple clamps together in different orientations allows for great flexibility.

2 and 3 bolt Steel Pipe Clips

Standard pipe clips are usually either 2 bolt clips or 3 bolt clips. Basically they are two half clamps that are bolted together around a pipe. We like to define the pipe clamp as a single half clamp bolted to a flat surfase so using the wall for example as one half of the clamping mechanism. Where as a clip would be effectively two clamps fastened together to grip the pipe. Often used when suspending a pipe from a ceiling

A 2 bolt pipe clip comes in two halves, has two bolts, one either side of the pipe to join the two halves together.

These are typically used with a hanger rod to suspend the pipe. However they can also be used with a shoe or base plate.

3-Bolt Pipe Clips also come in two halves but it has three bolts, one either side of the pipe, and one towards the end of an extended arm to join the two halves together

Hose Clip

A Hose Clip is a circular metal strip with worming tracks formed on it and the worming gear on one side of this.

They usually clamp a soft pliable hose onto a rigid pipe or fitting usually to create a seal.
