Stainless Steel Wing / Butterfly Screws - DIN 316
Sometimes called American form and are similar to UNI 5549 & DIN 316
DIN 316 Stainless Steel Wing / Butterfly Screws. There are two wing-like projections from the head of the screw. which makes it possible to use your thumb and finger to turn and tighten the screw rather than a wrench or other tool. This allows an easy rapid assembly and disassembly. Fully threaded and can be used for many applications where quick hand tensioning and clamping is required
A2 (T304) stainless steel has good resistance to corrosion except in severe industrial and Marine conditions.
